Windows Server 2008: Start > Computer > Right click, select Manage)
Windows Server 2012: Right click Start, select Computer Management)

- Right click on System.
- Choose “Save All Events as” and choose the path and name the file. Please be sure to leave the “Save as type:” as “Event Files (*.evtx)”
- Use the Windows compression utility (or a third party utility such as 7zip) to compress the file ready for attachment to the issue.
