Make sure you keep a backup of the download, while we don't intend to take down the support articles or downloads, they may be lost at some point in the next decade as further changes are made as part of the integration into CapGemini. The activation code you will be provided will be multiple use for any DEV/QA/Prod/DR environments you use, no need to check with us when moving environments or if setting up backups.
Note the copy protection is sensitive to data/time changes of more than an hour, it will disable itself and make registry changes so that it can no longer be activated.

Particularly make sure you have .net framework 3.5 installed if its a newer windows version its not on there by default.
Also there are known issues with non DBO schema, we suggest changing the default schema for any user accounts to dbo in any databases you're working with, it does not default to dbo in newer SQL Server versions
And if using SSIS on a new machine - additional items would need to be added to Visual Studio
We will not be producing DLL's for any new VS versions, you will have to stay on a target of 2022 or older, or convert to stored procedures if you want to use a newer version of SQL
You should be able to work with newer SQL Database versions remotely via SSIS , but not guarantees it works directly but there's a higher chance with Stored Procedures. There's an article on converting from SSIS to Stored Procs at the end of the SSIS tutorial
Addressing Users:
You will need to work with loqate separately to continue getting addressing updates, we are not responsible for 3rd party changes to DLL's that could stop it working. The last update we notify you of will expire on January 30 2027, but your software will expire sooner if you arent participating in a license after the end of support.
In the meantime you can still get the Loqate data updates by running the install manager, please reach out to loqate for more information , we have an article here that goes through running it to retrieve the data, but further help with this would be through Loqate/GBGgroup directly. We would suggest looking at using their tools directly to process data.
