Known Issue
When trying to open/expand the metadata in DBMoto after upgrading to v9.5 32-bit (from a previous 32-bit version), an error occurs stating “Unable to read beyond the end of the stream.”
Workaround
-
Attempt to open/expand the metadata in DBMoto; the “Unable to read beyond the end of the stream” message displays.
2. Click OK.
3. Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\HiT Software\DBMoto V9\Metadata\DBMoto_Client.
4. Delete the metadata.log file.
5. Return to DBMoto and open/expand the metadata. This operation now works as expected.
NOTE: A message about updating the license upon expanding the metadata for the first time may display. Click OK to continue.
