Prerequisites
In order to connect to Amazon Web Services (AWS) for Input or Output tasks, you must first have an AWS account set up. To set up an AWS account and obtain the appropriate credentials, go to https://aws.amazon.com/premiumsupport/knowledge-center/create-and-activate-aws-account/ .
Overview
Amazon Web Services (AWS) offers its users the ability to store their files online in an area known as a Storage Bucket. Match Desktop offers a connection to AWS from the following Delimited File and Excel tasks:
From these tasks, you can configure your AWS credentials, browse your storage buckets, browse the files located within each of these buckets, select a file to import, and/or specify the name of a new AWS file to which data will be uploaded.
Entering AWS Credentials
Controls are available from the Input and Output tasks to allow you to choose to point the task to a locally stored file or to a file stored in an AWS bucket. To set AWS credentials:
- Click the Set AWS Credentials button to launch the AWS Credentials window.
NOTE: The Set AWS Credentials button only displays the first time Stored in AWS bucket (for the input task) or Output to AWS bucket (for the Output task) is selected. - Enter your Access Key and Secret Key obtained from AWS.
