Install or Upgrade Match Desktop (fka Cortex)

  1. Download the setup file here.
  2. Run the Desktop_setup.exe file.
  3. Click Next on the Welcome to Cortex Setup window of the install wizard.
  4. Select the I accept the terms of the License Agreement check box and click Next.
  5. Click Browse… to choose the Destination Folder for the install or leave the default folder.

    NOTE: It is recommended to leave the default Destination Folder for upgrades.
  6. Click Next.
  7. Enter the activation code provided when Match Desktop was purchased.
    NOTE: If you do not have an activation code or your activation code has expired, contact support.syniti.com to request one.
    NOTE: Check for whitespace before and after copying the activation code. Whitespace in the code results in an activation error.
  8. Click Next.
  9. Select the nationality of the data you most commonly work with: United States of America or United Kingdom.
  10. Click Next.
  11. Click Browse… to choose the folder where you wish to keep the UK Address Verification reference data.

    NOTE: This information only displays if United Kingdom was selected on the previous window.
  12. Click Next.
  13. Click Install.
  14. Click Next when the install setup completes successfully.
  15. Click Finish to complete the setup and open Match Desktop.
