Applies to all versions of DSP/ADM/ISA
If your network requires you to access the internet via a Proxy Server or similar gateway, this can cause issues accessing DSP if your computer is not configured to bypass the proxy server for the DSP server. An example of the problem could be that DSP might get stuck in loops where all pages refresh constantly and do not load completely.
This is caused by a local network issue when accessing via a proxy server. To test if this is the issue, see if it happens when connecting using localhost using a browser installed on the DSP Application Server. If this works, but client computers experience issues, then try the solution below.
Navigate to Internet Settings / Connections / LAN Settings. Make the following changes within the proxy settings on your device. Check that you have the box for "Bypass proxy server for local addresses" checked. If this alone does not resolve the issue, then go into the Advanced settings and explicitly list the DSP server's URL in the box for "Do not use proxy server for addresses beginning with:".
