Map: Value Mapping Legacy value Descriptions are not in English

Hi Community,

SST Version 7.4.5

I have been working on Value Mapping and when I tried to perform value mapping the legacy description in "Value Mapping (Legacy to Target)" Page is showing as "Description Field Not Defined".

On further analysis I've found that the Legacy Description Table and Legacy Description Field values were missing from "Legacy Value (Source Table Fields)" Page [ Map -> Configuration -> Value Mapping (Config) ->Check Table -> Sources -> Source Check table (Config) -> Tables]

After updating the appropriate Description table and field in the above page, if the values are refreshed the legacy description is being populated with Random language descriptions eventhough the languge ID in Wave and DSP configuration is set to 'E'.

 

P.S: I have debugged to some extent, where in upon clicking refresh the page triggers an AE event which directs to [Task - cMap Value Mapping Source Table Multi-Key Description Updates], where in the query generated doesn't have any filter on SPRAS.

    Thanks Ben! I have indeed raised a support ticket.

     

    I'm updating the support response here for fellow colleagues who might encounter this issue.

     

    we believe you need to set a Language value on the vertical of your Source in Map :
