Dynamic Vertical Views from a Button on a Horizontal

I have a situation where I have a object / data row that has multiple child objects with different structures. I use the header / detail page design to display this data on the bottom pane. But these child data sets are wide and difficult to see in a horizontal manner. I would like to have buttons on the header horizontal that an end user can click on and display different vertical views. I have located the following page, Dynamic Views for Multiple Control Fields, but this works in a dynamic manner based on data in the horizontal to display a single type of vertical when clicking on the vertical button.

  Option 1: Make sure you are using Spanning Properties to display more fields on a screen

  Option 2: Create separate Pages for each "vertical view" you want.  Set these Pages up with only a Vertical view (no horizontal view), and they will display vertically. You then link to those Pages from multiple buttons.

  Note that starting with version 7.1, there is a "Link To Layer" option that will allow the "3rd-level page" to display on top of the Header and Detail page.  Talk with your Syniti Sales Representative on how to get the latest DSP version.
