Data Stewardship Platform
The 6.7 release of the DSP is still currently with SAP for Premium Qualification (PQ) testing and this is ongoing. DSP 6.7.1 was released internally on May 25th and will be made available to SAP post 6.7 PQ completion.
DSP 7.0 is currently in development with the focus on a new UI, aligning more closely to the IGC, as well as integration with the IGC for rule enforcement. The plan is for this to release around middle of Q3. DSP 7.0 will additionally support Windows Server 2016 and SQL Server 2017 and we will be moving to a hosted help system to remove the reliance on documentation being shipped as part of the product and allow us to enrich help with video and other media to support the end user with a richer experience.
DSP Single Sign-on Support
Did you know that the DSP supports single sign-on? Once configured, users do not need to enter a username and password; streamlining the login process.
Implementing single sign-on using Windows Authentication requires some minor configuration that is covered in the online help and this article - https://support.syniti.com/hc/en-us/articles/115012405247-Authentication-Configuration-for-Windows-Server-2008-and-Windows-Server-2012. Custom authentication is also supported, but requires coding a plugin. We are currently investigating providing additional single sign-on capabilities.
