We are using Collect in DSP 6.5 to pull data from an Oracle database and need to interpret the data according to a specific code page, where this code page is not the default code page of the Oracle database.

Can anyone advise how to override the default code page when retrieving data from Oracle?

  MUpton: 

  1. Navigate to Assemble > Configuration > Connection Types.
  2. Find the row “SQL” and the column “Code Page.”
  3. Change the value from 2 to 1.
  4. Navigate to the Vertical View of the Assemble package.
  5. Click Advanced Properties.
  6. Select the appropriate code page from the Source Code Page list box
