SUddin: The system runs an availability check in the supplying plant (issuing plant) for stock transport orders. The checking rules that you define in Customizing determine which stocks (for example, stock in quality inspection and safety stock) and which receipts and issues (for example, reservations and purchase requisitions) are taken into account in the availability check. The availability check checks the issuing storage location in stock transport orders by checking the assigned MRP area.

JValerio: It depends on what the kind of stock transfer you have if you do a 2-step movement in inventory management by only using movement types 313 and 314. Using these movement types, the transfer stock for batches will be visible in MCHB if it is a stock transfer between 2 plants in the same company. Then, the stock in transit can be seen in MARC table field TRAME (no information about batch) if it is a stock transfer between 2 plants in different companies. Then, you just have virtual stock in transit, which does not store a stock in transit in a single field; it is the difference between goods issue and goods receipt from your PO history that is calculated in MB5T.
