DSP 6.6.2
The target release date for DSP 6.6.2 is the end of December. This release adds GDPR compliance, which required us to implement full event logging, ownership and retention of data read into the platform.
Business Value Dashboards have also been added to dspConduct.
Information Governance Universal Connect
The release of DSP 6.6.1 integrated IG Universal Connect into the platform, allowing it to be used from Collect, Integrate and page events. If you are using a version of DSP prior to 6.6.1 IG Universal Connect can still be used on projects, however Boomi processes will have to executed manually.
IG Universal Connect is designed to be used to integrate cloud and on-premise systems with the DSP. It provides many connectivity options to connect to cloud and on-premise systems that were previously not possible without using SAP Data Services or writing a platform plugin. IG Universal Connect also allows users to create web services to provide DSP data and functionality to external systems via REST, SOAP, etc.
The DSP installation manual, requirements and sizing guide, and online help have been updated to include IG Universal Connect information. The BOA support site (https://support.syniti.com/hc/en-us/sections/115002849348-IG-Universal-Connect) has some IG Universal Connect articles that cover Integrate, Collect, Best Practices and the Template.
