Can Syniti Act as a reporting tool and Report out of two systems that the Master data is sync or not ?
Use case is Materials existing in peoplesoft and SAP and syniti Reporting dashboard built on top to Report out the Diffrences between the dataset.
Is the tool built for usecases like that?
Yes, you can absolutely use the platform and functions to support this use case. How this is done is going to greatly depend upon the details, for example, what are we comparing in two essentially differing metadata models that would then be called a difference. The platform has plenty of functionality for matching, comparison and creating a common semantic model for that comparison as well, so it is worth ensuring that due diligence is done up front to gain an understanding of desired outcome and actions that would be triggered as result of such a comparison. This sounds like it might be the seed for an understanding of how to potentially automate a synchronization of master data, and this also a capability that could potentially be enabled in the solution. FYI, differing versions of the platform will drive differences in how these objectives are achieved.
