| Summary: | Creating an XML Metadata Backup File in the Management Center |
It is highly recommended to keep a Syniti DR/DBMoto metadata backup file of your most recent metadata. In addition, technical support staff may ask for a metadata backup file to aid in diagnosing problems.
Syniti DR/DBMoto 7 and Above
- In the Management Center, select the metadata.
- From the right mouse button, choose Backup Metadata.
- In the Save Backup dialog, select a file location and click Save to save the metadata in XML format.
DBMoto 6.6 to DBMoto 7
In the DBMoto Enterprise Manager, right-click on the metadata in bold and choose “Backup metadata” (or select the metadata then choose Metadata, Backup Metadata... from the main toolbar. See figure below.)
