Hello, our client has recently upgraded their SAP systems from version 740 to version 750. ADM is collecting SAP tables using SAP Data Services (version 4.2, Support Package 8), which connects to SAP and extracts the data using an RFC connection. After the upgrade to 750, we are facing an issue while trying to import metadata and/or download data from the SAP tables; the system gives us a "You are not authorized to perform this activity" error message. The reason for the error message is because the version of the SAP DS functions installed in SAP has changed and does require the authorization object S_SDSAUTH to be present. But, at the moment, only the S_DSAUTH can be found (which was working before for the old SAP DS functions, i.e. /BODS namespace).
Is there any SAP documentation on how to set up the required authorization objects in SAP? Or is it just the Basis team applying the authorization class and the authorization objects to the communication user used by SAP DS? Any help would be much appreciated. Many thanks
