Is there a way to use the WR01_SAVESITEDATA function in Integrate?

I am exploring ways to upload 1600+ sites in a retail scenario. I came across the following article: https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/Retail/Master+Data+Mass+Maintenance+in+IS+Retail 

It recommends the use of the following function: WR01_SAVESITEDATA

When on the Integrate template, I choose the BAPI/RFC method, but I cannot find this function. Even if I download all the RFC functions for the data source I am using, WR01_SAVESITEDATA cannot be found on the template.

Is there any way to use this function on integrate? Many thanks in advance.

  KVandergriend: You can load Sites using GUI scripting. It is not the fastest, but it works just fine. Integrate supports GUI scripting; it just needs to be enabled on the SAP GUI Logon pad.

  JGreen: Can you check in the parameters of the function to see if it's RFC-enabled. My guess is that it isn't. If you can create a copy of the function and change the attribute RFC Enabled to True, you should then be able to use it.

  PAscione: Hi, I'm afraid that the function you want to use isn't enabled for Remote call. You can check it by the SAP tcode se37; the information is in the Attribute tab in the Processing Type section. The WR01_SAVESITEDATA has it set as Update Module, so is not possible to call it by Remote. The solution could be to create a custom FM in the /BOA/ namespace, enable it for the RFC, give it the same interface of the FM you want and inside it call the WR01_SAVESITEDATA.
